its alive, sort of
The ball and socket joint came to life. Its working but its jerky, and i'm not sure how much weight it can hold. Im going to make a few small adjustments and add some weight to the ends of the rod to test it under pressure, and if it doesn't work better I'll try another design. Open to suggestions.

Excellent job Launa!! Nothing gives you a better idea of how to adjust than getting in there and bringing the idea into reality. The photo of your first take on the sample ball joint means alot. You already have an established aesthetic (can be seen in a few of the sketches I saw and obviously your website). Now you are fabricating some literal and theoretical support for said aesthetic. Im excited to see the next few steps. Ryan
